Terms and conditions

Now Boarding Travel Inc. (“Now Boarding Travel,” “we,” “our,” or “us”) operates as an independent travel advisor and agent. Most services included in your travel arrangements—such as accommodations, flights, tours, cruises, and ground transportation—are provided by independent third-party travel suppliers (“Travel Suppliers”).

By confirming a booking through us, you agree to both our terms and the applicable terms and conditions of the relevant suppliers. Please review the following terms carefully before confirming your travel arrangements.

THIRD-PARTY SUPPLIERS

Now Boarding Travel partners with a network of trusted Travel Suppliers to curate exceptional experiences around the world. When you make a payment for your trip, you are entering into a direct contract with those suppliers, and your rights and remedies are governed by their individual terms and conditions.
If a supplier fails to deliver the services promised or alters them, your remedy lies with that supplier—not with Now Boarding Travel. We make every effort to provide accurate information and professional recommendations, but we are not liable for changes, delays, or dissatisfaction related to supplier services.
Travel services, including flight times, accommodations, and other components, are subject to change after booking. We encourage you to review each supplier’s terms and ensure your contact information is up to date so we can communicate any important changes.
Requests such as room preferences, seat assignments, and special services are relayed to suppliers but cannot be guaranteed.

TRIP RESEARCH & DEVELOPMENT FEE

Our customized planning process begins with a non-refundable Trip Research & Development Fee, which reflects the time, expertise, and care invested in designing your itinerary. This fee varies depending on the destination, number of travelers, and trip complexity. Payment of this fee is required before research or reservations begin.

PRICE, AVAILABILITY & INCREASES

All prices are based on availability at the time of booking and are subject to change until full payment is received. Pricing may fluctuate due to exchange rates, supplier adjustments, fuel surcharges, or government-imposed taxes and fees. Additional charges such as seat selection fees, resort fees, baggage fees, or local taxes may apply and are determined by each supplier. These may be payable either at the time of booking or directly at your destination. Once final payment is made, prices are typically locked in; however, certain supplier-imposed increases may still occur. You will be notified of any such adjustments, and additional payment may be required.

DEPOSITS & FINAL PAYMENTS

A deposit is required to confirm most travel arrangements, with the amount determined by the supplier and itinerary. Final payment deadlines will be provided at the time of booking. Failure to make final payment by the specified date may result in cancellation and forfeiture of deposits. All payments are subject to the applicable supplier terms and conditions.

CREDIT CARD CHARGEBACKS

Many travel arrangements—particularly airfare, accommodation packages, and promotional fares—are non-refundable and non-transferable once confirmed. Each supplier dictates its own cancellation and change policies, which may include strict penalties or non-refundable terms.
By accepting these Terms & Conditions, you authorize Now Boarding Travel to act on your behalf in seeking refunds, credits, or travel vouchers that may be available under supplier policies. Initiating a credit card chargeback for services rendered or for which refunds are not permitted under supplier terms may constitute a breach of contract and could result in further action or cancellation of future bookings. Before initiating a chargeback, please contact Now Boarding Travel so we can assist in resolving your concern directly with the supplier.

CREDIT CARD FEES

Some suppliers may impose credit card processing fees, typically ranging from 1.5% to 4%, depending on currency and payment method. These fees are set by the supplier and are in addition to the cost of your travel arrangements. Now Boarding Travel may also apply a merchant processing fee for payments made by credit card. If applicable, this will be disclosed prior to processing payment. To avoid such fees, alternate payment methods such as Interac e-Transfer (Canada), ACH transfer (U.S.), or wire transfer may be available.

HEALTH & SPECIAL REQUIREMENTS

You are responsible for ensuring that you are medically fit to travel and for disclosing any health conditions or mobility limitations in advance. We will do our best to accommodate special requirements, but availability and suitability cannot be guaranteed. Certain destinations may require vaccinations, COVID-related documentation, or health screenings. Now Boarding Travel is not liable for any costs or delays arising from failure to meet entry or health requirements.

TRAVEL DOCUMENTATION

It is the traveler’s responsibility to obtain and carry all necessary documentation for entry into each destination, including passports, visas, vaccination records, and other identification.
Passports must generally be valid for at least six (6) months beyond your return date.

Canadian citizens: Refer to travel.gc.ca

U.S. citizens: Refer to travel.state.gov

Failure to present required documents may result in denied boarding or entry at your own expense. Now Boarding Travel is not responsible for losses or disruptions resulting from incomplete or incorrect documentation.

TRAVEL PROTECTION

We strongly recommend purchasing comprehensive travel insurance to cover trip cancellation, interruption, medical emergencies, lost luggage, and other unforeseen events. While we can provide quotes or connect you with providers, it is your responsibility to ensure adequate coverage. Declining travel insurance is done at your own risk.

NOW BOARDING TRAVEL CHANGE & CANCELLATION FEES

Changes or cancellations made after booking confirmation may incur additional fees. Now Boarding Travel reserves the right to charge administrative fees ranging from $35 to $500 per instance, depending on the timing and complexity of the request. These fees are in addition to any penalties imposed by suppliers. All requests must be submitted in writing. Availability cannot be guaranteed until confirmed.

RECONFIRMING FLIGHT TIMES & CHECK-IN

Please reconfirm all flight times at least 24 hours prior to departure and check in directly with the airline online or via their app. Arrive at the airport early to allow time for check-in, security, and boarding. Airlines may deny boarding to late arrivals; no-shows are non-refundable.

BAGGAGE ALLOWANCES & RESTRICTIONS

Baggage allowances and fees vary by airline and fare class. Please review your airline’s baggage policy prior to travel. Now Boarding Travel is not responsible for lost, delayed, or damaged luggage. Claims must be made directly with the airline or carrier.

RESPONSIBILITY

Now Boarding Travel does not own, operate, or control the third-party suppliers providing travel services, including airlines, hotels, tour operators, and transportation providers. These suppliers are independent entities and are not employees, agents, or affiliates of Now Boarding Travel. We act solely as an intermediary between you and these suppliers. Therefore, Now Boarding Travel is not responsible or liable for any injury, property damage, loss, delay, or irregularity resulting from their actions, omissions, or negligence. We disclaim all liability for damages arising from events beyond our control, including but not limited to weather disruptions, labor strikes, or government actions.

TRAVELING WITH CHILDREN

Certain destinations or airlines require additional documentation for minors traveling with one parent or without both parents. It is your responsibility to obtain any required consent forms or authorizations. Failure to comply may result in denied boarding or entry without refund.

NOTICE TO TRAVELERS

Travel standards, infrastructure, and customs may differ significantly from those in North America. Now Boarding Travel cannot be held responsible for any dissatisfaction or inconvenience resulting from differences in local standards or conditions. Accommodations: Star ratings and classifications are determined locally and may not align with Canadian or U.S. standards. Review hotel descriptions and independent guest reviews before booking. Services and Facilities: Hotel amenities may be limited or interrupted due to local customs, renovations, maintenance, or seasonal operations. Local Challenges: Should an issue arise, attempt to resolve it directly with the local provider first. If further assistance is needed, contact your Now Boarding Travel advisor. Credit Card Requirements: Many suppliers require a credit card at check-in for incidentals. A minimum of $1,000 CAD/USD in available credit is recommended. We encourage travelers to research their destinations and suppliers in advance. An informed traveler is a confident traveler.

ELECTRONIC OR HANDWRITTEN SIGNATURE

Your acceptance of these terms may be indicated by electronic acknowledgment, digital signature, email confirmation, or handwritten signature—all of which are legally binding. By proceeding with a booking through Now Boarding Travel Inc., you confirm that you have read, understood, and agreed to these Terms & Conditions.

GOVERNING LAW

This Agreement shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Province of Ontario and the federal laws of Canada applicable therein.
Any dispute, claim, or proceeding arising out of or relating to this Agreement or your booking shall be brought exclusively before the courts of the Province of Ontario
